August Sunsets

We get some pretty incredible sunsets around here, and I keep a close eye on the makai sky when I think we’re gonna get one. So much of the time it’s cloudy and/or rainy… well, from about October through June… which makes for a lot of gray.

This August I happened to be watching at just the right time.

The sun was just starting to go down here.

This was about twenty seconds later:

I love it when the sun begins to drop down and shine below the clouds. This was only about twenty seconds after the last one.

Here’s where it starts to get really spectacular. So I’ll just shuddup and let you folks enjoy da beauty.

Close-up:

And suddenly, just about eighteen minutes later, it was almost pau. But while it was here, da sunset sure did put on a fabulous show!
