This guy. He was like a monkey up there. No fear, just climbing from limb to limb.
Oh. Try wait! U like see video?
Hanging on with one hand, chainsawing with the other.
Then he climbs to another area.
Wood chips were flying everywhere. There was another guy besides Ed down on the ground helping, too. He was running the wood chipper when huge branches came down.
This was a big branch; they roped this one down.
Then up the guy went again. I never did know his name. ‘Way too high for me!
Getting ready to rope down another branch.
This branch seemed kinda skinny to me…..
Oi. So high up!!
This is what the driveway looked like just before they broke for lunch.
K’den. More later.
We took down 18 fir trees a few years back ( not as big as your maple) and it was so fun to watch those guys work. Plus the one guy who worked tirelessly to save my plants below.
I’ve replanted better tall trees but it will be years before they are that big.
That’s a lot of trees!! I loved watching our guys, too; it’s not a job I’d want, but I sure do have a lot of admiration for those who do this.
Aue! Too high for me too!
I’m so glad to see regularly blog entries from you again, Moki-chan.
Mahalo, my friend. It’s good to be posting regularly again.
